Weehawken Pool

I would give 5 stars but the parking lot is a dangerous terrain of rocks and if you park further in the back , your car can get stuck. My wheels were embedded in the rocks and I had to call a tow. Manager at the pool could not care less. Besides that , the pool itself is fantastic and clean. Life guards are great too. I won't be parking in that lot anymore. Can we get a paved lot for the money we pay in taxes? Thats my question.

I normally dont leave reviews but I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had today at Weehawken Pool. My partner and I woke up at 5:30 a.m. so we could purchase tickets and enjoy the day at the pool. We paid $40 per person, expecting that having purchased tickets meant we would be guaranteed entry. We arrived shortly after the 10:00 a.m. opening time and saw a long line. Naturally, we assumed the delay was because the pool had just opened. After speaking with others in line, we learned that the pool had already reached capacity and that no one else would be allowed in until people inside decided to leave. This information was never mentioned on the website or during the ticket purchasing process. Had we known that purchasing a ticket did not guarantee admission, we would have planned our day differently. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of communication from staff. No one came outside to explain what was happening or provide updates. Instead, families with young children, elderly guests, and everyone else were left standing in 101-degree heat with no information about whether they would ever get inside. Please keep in mind some of th

Our swim team started training at this pool during winter and I had my reservations but it has far exceeded my expectations. The bubble enclosure of this pool is warm and fairly spacious. Bleacher seating and attentive lifeguarding staff. The change rooms are connected to the bubble and stays warm and dry. The pool is located fairly close to the lightrail station which makes this fairly accessible to Hoboken and Jersey City residents.

Great new facilities. Adult lap pool, kid pool with water slide, large splash pad and small infant pool. Lounge chairs and umbrellas. Currently non-Weehawken residents are only allowed to use it in the mornings from 9-12 and you have to sign up a week in advance. Great views of NYC! Needs better access.
